A light in the mountains.
Small studio, tall standards. Games and tools built slowly, on purpose, from a cabin at the edge of the cliff.
Wrecksong
A falling-sand roguelite where every pixel is simulated — and the simulation is bit-exact, so two people can descend into the same burning, collapsing cave at once.
Swarm Architect
Four heroes carving through a horde against one Dungeon Master building it. A bullet-heaven and a tower-defence game, played against each other in the same match.
Zen Ride
A music-driven rider. Pick a song and the game builds the level out of it — the turns follow the downbeats, and every colour on screen comes from what the track sounds like.
Vimancer
A Vim tutorial that fights back. The text you are editing is the terrain you stand on, and the commands you are learning are the only way out.
Devlog
Notes from the cabin — the four projects read back out of their own commit logs, in the order things actually happened.
All devlogsAbout
We're software architects. Building large software systems is the day job, and we make games because we love the craft of making things.
It shows in how we work. Every game here got its own editor before it got its content. Vimancer has a level designer that runs beside the game. Wrecksong is edited live from fourteen browser pages while it plays. Zen Ride had a tuning panel by its fourth commit.
We also want the mechanic to be the world. In Zen Ride the song is the level. In Vimancer the text you're editing is the ground you stand on.
Grimberg means grim mountain. Wrecksong is still being dug out of it, and the devlogs follow along as it happens.
